Antique New Wharf Pottery flow blue plate. Circa 1890's.
New Wharf Pottery was started in Stoke on Trent in England in 1877.
They made a lot of beautiful flow blue pottery, and this piece is a fine example.
New Farm Pottery is hard to find, especially in Australia, and I am lucky enough
to have a few pieces, including plates, a platter and a tureen.
The blue is a bit deeper than my photos have captured.
Lovely scalloped edge.
It has some light scratches to the front as shown.
Also a small chip to the underside of the rim.
It measures 22cm across.
The photos describe it well.
I will be listing lots of vintage china and collectables from
our recent trip to Europe, and am happy to combine postage.
