antique fruit dish/plate with wheel cut design frosted bottom
This is just the loveliest
plate. It is very shallow so could be used as a plate or dish. It features a
pattern in the rim which looks like pomegranates and leaves and then etched to
give it a frosted look. The base has also been wheel cut and frosted but leaving
the central star shape clear. These date from around 1860 and were used as
fruit plates but now could be used as a nut or sweet dish.
I have three available
listing is for one.
Condition – excellent with no
chips or cracks
Maker unknown, no markings
but if anyone knows who has made these, I would love to know.
Measures 16 cm wide x approx
1.5 cm high
If you wish to purchase all 3 plates postage will be $14

Just a bit about me. I sell on ebay partly because I enjoy doing so, I sometimes down size my own collecting to make way for further pieces. As such I am not an expert in all things antique but I do try to describe things to the best of my knowledge. I try to list all flaws, even the minute ones so that you can make an informed decision on your purchase. Most things are either antique or of a vintage age and will have age related flaws and wear. If you are after items in perfect condition, then these are not for you.
Payment is strictly 3 days. Unfortunately I have been getting some non payments lately so unless buyer has made contact, I will lodge a non payment dispute if no payment has been made after 3 days. I am very flexible and am happy to wait for payment so as long as buyer lets me know.
My postage and handling charge usually is the cost of actual postage plus small fee which covers packaging costs. I try to keep this down by recycling but I do also use brand new materials. Unfortunately aust post has put its costs up yet again so please keep this in mind when considering the postage cost. Ebay is now charging commission on postage so that is also included.
I can combine postage but please wait for invoice before making payment.
Please be aware that I live on a rural property and have only a weekly mail so it could anywhere up to 7-14 days before item reaches you. Please keep this in mind when leaving feedback, thankyou.
