A vintage, circa 1965 +, art glass bowl, featuring a made by famous Thomas Webb, Stourbridge, England.
It is a lovely piece of studio BLOWN glass in the DEEPEST SHADE of COBALT BLUE with a polished pontil base.
As you can see from the photos, it displays beautifully- especially considering this quality piece was made around 50 years ago.
Acid etched mark to base: THOS. WEBB
Measures 6 cm high x 21 cm wide. It weighs a heavy 525 grams.
NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs. There are areas of wear to the interior that can be seen when held at certain angles. Very hard to photograph.
This is a unique piece VINTAGE GLASS that would make a great addition to any collection of quality, ART GLASS or as an interesting addition to any collection of COBALT BLUE GLASS.
